This wonderful apartment is located in the Mouffetard quarter of the 5th arrondissement. It is just a 2-block walk to famous Rue Mouffetard, one of the oldest and most interesting streets in Paris. A pedestrian-only market street, it is filled with cafes, restaurants, food shops and a regular outdoor market. Our apartment is in an Haussmanian building on a residential street nearby. The main living quarters face the street and enjoy the pretty view of other historic buildings across. The bedrooms face the internal courtyard and are quiet.

The apartment is on the top floor of the building with access by elevator and one flight of stairs. The apartment is quite lovely with white walls, clear maple parquet floors and 5 sets of double doors opening to 5 balconies. The balconies are often used for sunny meals outside--a special Parisian treat. The living room has chocolate colored sofas, antique wood end tables, and Persian rugs in vermillion and blue. It is quite pretty. The dining table is an antique with seating for four. This main room opens to the kitchen which is fully built-in and well equipped. There is air conditioning in the living room for extra comfort.

There are two bedrooms. The master has a queen bed, flat screen TV and a mobile air conditioning unit. The other bedroom is smaller with a double bed. There are fans in both rooms. The two pretty bathrooms each have carrera marble floors, a sink, shower stall and toilet. There is a steam room in one shower stall. This is a lovely apartment in a very central and popular location.

Location Information:

Métro Censier-Daubenton 3 block walk. Rue Mouffetard just 2 blocks away with a full selection of food shops, restaurants, cafes. Easy walk to the Latin Quarter, the famous Blvd. St. Michel and Notre Dame. Excellent for touring.
