This gracious home is a wonderful property located just below Gordes, the famous perched village. Located on a hillside, this house has spectacular views. The front of the house looks across to the Luberon mountain range. The side looks up to Gordes above. At night, it is a spectacular sight. And you can even walk up into the village!

The house has very pretty decor and a high level of comfort. The main level is reached by steps up through the garden and has the living quarters. The living room/dining room has exposed beams, an open fireplace, comfortable seating, fine antiques with some original artwork. The living room has French doors that open to the front porch and its views across the valley. The dining area has French doors to the side terrace and pool and view of Gordes above. The kitchen is built-in and excellent with exposed beams and accents in Provencal blue. There is a guest bathroom, toilet and sink on this level.

All the bedrooms in the house have pretty bed linens, dustruffles and fine fabrics. Upstairs are three bedrooms: a master with high ceilings, exposed beams and a queen bed; a room with twin beds: and a small room with a double bed and a loft above. The bathroom has a triangular tub, tiled shower stall, and a double sink. Separate toilet. Below at the entry level is another bedroom with exterior access only. This very pleasant room has a queen bed and ensuite bathroom with bathtub, stall shower, sink and toilet. This is a wonderful house for people who want a touch of elegance, local charm, stunning views and walking distance to a village.

The surroundings were breathtaking given the fact that we had Gords as a backdrop-with the beautiful vineyards of the Luberon Valley in the forefront. The home had a good layout with the veranda and outside eating off of the main living area. Also well-equipped.
